Dear Valued Girl Scout Volunteer,

Girl Scouts of the USA, the national organization based in New York City, is working with Girl Scouts of Citrus in transforming Girl Scouting in the jurisdiction so that success, growth, relevance and impact on girls continue in the future.

This project, the Organizational Performance Model, is a diagnostic tool that identifies systems, structures, processes and procedures that improve and enhances the council’s capacity to provide effective and efficient ways of delivering services and resources to girls and volunteers. We are all aware that councils of higher capacity offer greater opportunities for girls. We aim to inspire our girls, grow our membership and strenghten further the impact of the Girl Scout Movement in Citrus Council.

From September 26 thru the 29^th, 2011, national and council staff and operational volunteers will conduct interviews with volunteers, staff, board members, key community representatives and donors in the area to gather insights and perspectives on girl and volunteer needs, interests and programs.

The information gathered from these interviews will be analyzed in-depth. The analytical results will be included in the set of recommendations to the council leadership in the development of strategies and plans as the Girl Scouts of Citrus moves forward in successfully ensuring that girls are given what they need in ways that they want.

The scheduled meetings in each county are listed below. If you are not able to attend the meeting in your area, feel free to attend a meeting that is conveinient for you.
